I'm Back...

Okay so in my house I don't get to cook much but when I do I have to think others I have people that can't have banana and people that can't have spicy food. So when my aunt was making supper I made these...

Oatmeal Raisin Drop Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of oatmeal (uncooked)
  • 3 tablespoons of evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon of whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 1/2 cup of shortening

Directions:

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and oatmeal. Add both of the milks, egg, and shortening. Mix well. Blend in raisins last. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on non-greased              non-stick cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.

They came out great. My grandfather loves them  and he isn't easy to impress...

I hope you try them and love them as much as we do.
P.S it's a good way to have your kids eat heathy.
